HANDS SHAKE, NOSE RUBBED RAW, BODY SHOWING ALL THE SIGNS OF A MERE COLD, but she knows better. when amma got sick, it was never simply the flu or a stomach-bug, it was thick, putrid vomit & piss filled with blood - all because adora wanted to care for her.
she’s not supposed to leave the house when she gets like this, but she couldn’t stay in there for a minute longer. if she didn’t get up & do something, she was going to go crazy. she’d been in a fever-induced haze for three days and she couldn’t stand anymore of her mothers inappropriate touches & the friends she brought in the gawk at her.
the woods were her sanctuary, so when she stumbled across another it took her by surprise -
❛ hey, mind telling me what time it is ? ❜
Jeff jumped slightly. He was so into the task at hand
that the rest of the noises simply became a buzz in the
background. There usually wasn’t much to look out for
in these woods. And not so late at night.
He stammered past a hand that he wiped across his
mouth and scrambled for nearby leaves, twigs, anything
to cover up the macabre scene laid out before him. None
of it actually helped, he knew. Still crouching, he turned
to face the person who’d snuck up on him.
He didn’t even comprehend what they’d said. “Wh–What?”
