His lips twitched into a slight smile as he
reached down and brushed his fingertips
delicately over the petals of the dahlia.
❝Yeah… I’d be okay with that.❞ with
nothing but some clothes and a few other
personal belongings, he watched as the
city lights appeared and disappeared
through the window of this strangers’
car. ❝I’m Elton, by the way.❞

     "All right, then,“ he responded, with another smile.
The car was up and running once again in no time,
Jeff settling back behind the wheel with an air of ease.
"Nice to meet you, Elton. I’m Jeffrey.” Another pause
slipped between them, and he broke it with, “So, mind
if I ask what got you into a situation like this? I mean, 
you new to the city or something?”
